After perhaps ten centuries and millions of purse creations, Miche Bag has ultimately solved the age-old conflict with the traditional trio of purse purposes: (1) function, versus (2) status and (3) fashion. Function, the first purse purpose, refers to “carrying stuff.” People have been creating ways to carry their stuff with them for as long as they have had stuff to carry. Way back in the 12th century, men had little pouch purses around their wastes to hold their coins and things. (Females ostensibly didn’t need these because they didn’t have wealth.)

Every woman has fashionable handbags to carry their items in. There are hundreds of styles and designs with each having its on special place. The majority of women carry a handbag not only as a way to have everything they need at hand, but also as a fashionable accessory. Each style of bag was designed for a specific style of dress or fashion.

Like many women my age, I find myself wandering through stores on a regular basis looking for the perfect deal.
